What ListerAI is

ListerAI is a desktop application (Linux, Windows, macOS) that helps you create and manage listings on the eBay platform using AI-powered photo analysis. A companion mobile app (iOS and Android) is also available. The desktop app connects to a relay server at api.listerai.app for certain operations.

Data stored on your machine

The desktop app stores all listing data, product photos, and configuration locally on your computer in a SQLite database. Your data stays on your machine. There is no cloud sync, no account system, and no telemetry that sends your listing content to us.

eBay OAuth tokens are generated through the standard eBay authorization flow and stored locally in your app's configuration directory. These tokens let the app communicate with the eBay API on your behalf.

The relay server (api.listerai.app)

ListerAI uses a relay server running as a Cloudflare Worker at api.listerai.app. This server handles two things:

• eBay OAuth token exchange: When you authorize ListerAI with your eBay account, the relay facilitates the OAuth handshake. Tokens pass through the relay but are not stored on the server. They are returned to your local app and saved there.
• License validation: The relay verifies your license key with Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor) to confirm your purchase and manage device activations. The relay receives your license key and device identifier for this purpose.

The relay server does not log request bodies, does not store eBay credentials, and does not persist any user data beyond what Cloudflare retains in standard Worker analytics (request counts, response times, error rates).

AI providers

When you analyze product photos, ListerAI sends your images to the AI provider you selected (Z.AI, Google Gemini, OpenAI, or xAI) using your own API key. We do not proxy AI requests through our servers. Your photos go directly from your machine to the AI provider. Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle image data. We recommend reviewing those policies before use.

Mobile app

The mobile app communicates through a secure cloud proxy so that your eBay credentials never need to be stored on the mobile device itself. The proxy handles eBay API calls on the device's behalf. The same data handling principles apply: we do not store your listing content, photos, or eBay credentials on our infrastructure beyond what is needed to complete each request.

Payments

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not handle credit card numbers or payment details directly. Lemon Squeezy collects the information needed to process your purchase (name, email, payment method). Their privacy policy governs how they handle that data.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
• We do not track your browsing behavior or listing activity for advertising purposes.
• We do not collect or store your eBay credentials on our servers.
• We do not use your data to train AI models.

Account deletion

Since the desktop app stores data locally, you can delete all your data by removing the app's configuration directory from your machine. If you want us to deactivate your license or remove any information associated with your purchase, email us at support@listerai.app and we will process your request within 30 days.

Cookies

This website (listerai.app) does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts. No personal information is collected when you visit this site.

Changes to this policy

If we change this privacy policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will note them in the app's release notes.
